CFMA SF Bay Area Chapter Members,
We are certain that all of you have heard about the fires that ravaged Northern and Southern California, resulting in too many deaths, hundreds missing, and thousands of people displaced.
The Board of Directors of the SF Bay Area Chapter have decided to support relief efforts by matching any money, up to $2,500, that our members contribute to support wildfire relief. While there are many viable relief agencies for us to send our contributions to, our focus will be on contributing to the American Red Cross specifically for the California Wildfires as well as the California Fire Foundation and the Humane Society (Chico).
If you would like to make a donation that will be matched by the CFMA – SF Bay Area Chapter, please login to the CFMA website as if you were registering for a local chapter event and you will see an event titled “California Wildfire Relief”; you’ll be able to note your choice of charitable organization out of the three listed above. You can also email Dave Heier (firstname.lastname@example.org) showing proof that you contributed to the relief efforts and we will include that in getting to our match as well.
We will provide updates to you on our fundraising progress. Thanks in advance for your consideration of this matter.
